Do Jews really want to stand up against antisemitic extremists?

“It is estimated Hizb ut-Tahrir has in excess of one million members spread through over 33 countries. Their timing is impeccable. Their aim is clearly defined. Their business suit outfitted leaders are articulate and educated and for the most part, can run rings around their opponents. This includes Jews, who are not educated in Hizb ut-Tahrir’s sophisticated style of propaganda and therefore are reluctant to go head-to-head with these committed antisemites. This particular fight is not in today’s Jewish psyche. We need another Sa’adia Gaon.”

Earlier this week I wrote about the extremist and terrorist organisation, the abhorrent Hizb-ut Tahrir (HT), who continue in their planning to wage war on the US, Israel and the Jewish Diaspora as well as to kill Muslim leaders accused, in this extremist’s deranged mind, of betraying Islam.

Even though Hizb ut-Tahrir is officially outlawed in Turkey, yesterday Women and Sharia on their Facebook site announced that on March 3, 2020, Hizb ut-Tahrir in Turkey held a huge conference in Istanbul – “From Family to the State – Building an Islamic Society.” One doubts the conference couldn’t have been held without the blessing of Turkey’s President Erdoğan.

Speakers at the conference included the theologian Abdullah İmamoğlu, who has said, “the action to be taken in order to save Palestine from the occupation is to mobilize the armies of the Muslim lands against the usurper Jewish entity. Furthermore, from the Shari’ point of view, the obligation is to maintain the true status between the Jewish entity and us, which is the status of war until it is uprooted and eradicated from the sacred lands.”

Mahmut Kar, Media Representative of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Wilayah, Turkey also spoke. He’s the individual who said, “Hizb-ut Tahrir absolutely opposes the use of force and violence and armed struggle …” Mmm! Fighting the Jews and Conquest of Rome in plain sight on their logo, seen above, doesn’t give me much solace.

Contrary to their claims, The Counter Extremist Project has this to say about Hizb ut-Tahrir’s non-violence posture:

“Despite its official non-violent stance, Hizb ut-Tahrir has called for violence against Jews. In 2002, HT leaflets found in Denmark urged Muslims to kill Jews wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have been [sic] turned you out. A BBC report quoted the Hizb ut-Tahrir leaflet further: The Jews are a people of slander…a treacherous people… they fabricate lies and twist words from their right context. In 2003, similar anti-Semitic rhetoric resulted in the group being banned from many university campuses in Britain and a complete ban of the group in Germany.”

As I’ve said many times, I’ve been writing about these demented souls for over 13 years. I haven’t changed my opinion of them. So, let me tell you once again what this extremist-terrorist group is all about:

-Hizb ut-Tahrir, meaning Party of Liberation, promotes itself as a political party. It utterly rejects democracy and capitalism. Based on its puritanical interpretation of Islam, its goal is worldwide jihad against democratic societies, against Jews and Christians and in countries they conquer, replace the political system with a Caliphate.

-It is estimated Hizb ut-Tahrir has in excess of one million members spread through over 33 countries. Their timing is impeccable. Their aim is clearly defined. Their business suit outfitted leaders are articulate and educated and for the most part, can run rings around their opponents. That includes Jews, who are not educated in Hizb ut-Tahrir’s sophisticated style of propaganda and therefore are reluctant to go head-to-head with these committed antisemites. This particular fight is not in today’s Jewish psyche. We need another Sa’adia Gaon.

-Having said that, numerous countries have banned or severely curtailed Hizb ut-Tahrir, including Muslim-majority countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Bangladesh and Pakistan and all Arab countries with exception of Lebanon, Yemen, the UAE and also in the Palestinian territories.

-Facebook, at this time, has banned Hizb ut-Tahrir’s Arabic site.

-In the West, France, Germany and the Netherlands have banned Hizb ut-Tahrir. So has Russia and China, However, since they are not legally defined as a terrorist group in the USA, Canada, Australia or the UK, they continue to operate liberally in these four nations, which blows one’s mind away!

Do Jews really want to stand up against antisemitic extremists such as Hizb ut-Tahrir? It would seem they don’t. The time is now to step up to the plate and not hide behind the sanctuary of believing it isn’t our problem.
