Hizb-ut Tahrir: Antisemitic. Anti-Christian. Pro Pan-Islamist Terrorist Organization. Banned in many Muslim countries!

“That way is to mobilize the Muslim armies and bring together all able-bodied Muslims to eliminate the Jewish entity from its roots and only then will the al-Aqsa be liberated and cleared of the scum and evil of the Jews and their offsprings….”

HuT regards itself as a “peaceful pan-Islamist organization.” What complete and utter twaddle!

“The danger with Hizb-ut Tahrir (HuT) is ever more serious and often overlooked because it is not always visible and does not conform to stereotypes.”  – PAK Institute For Peace Studies(PIPS)

     by Alan Simons

I have been reporting on this known terrorist group now for eleven years and I intend to continue doing so. To remind my readers and to put it as simply as possible: This is an antisemitic and anti-Christian terrorist organisation who wants to conquer the world with its blatant egregious wish to demolish the democratic system of your government and in its place initiate a caliphate in your country. It has been quietly waiting in the shadows for the opportunity to pronounce itself as the foremost trustworthy leader in the Muslim world. Their timing is impeccable. Their aim is clearly defined. I repeat. To establish an Islamic Caliphate or Islamic state in your country and to resume the Islamic way of life for all.

Hizb ut-Tahrir (HuT) is not a recent upstart. It was founded in 1953 in Jordanian Jerusalem by Taqiuddin al-Nabhani, an Islamic scholar and Palestinian Sharia judge.

Hizb ut-Tahrir (HuT) is front and centre of an enthusiastic Islamist bunch of antisemitic, anti-West, anti-capitalist and anti-democratic educated ideological vicious revolutionists who, certainly in the West and Australia, dress as if they are on the board of one of President Trump’s blue-chip companies. As seen in this Australian Broadcasting Company click here>>> interview <<< their leaders are articulate, arrogant, well educated and when interviewed have done a good job of avoiding answering questions about their real intentions with a stylish line that could have been written by the best PR spin doctors.

Over the years HuT has matured into a global sophisticated organisation that maintains the illusion to ignorant Westerners, that they have an interest in reaching its goals of a caliphate peacefully and through non-violent means. They believe the establishment of the caliphate would provide stability and security. This forms part of their primary objective.

By the last count, HuT is operating in more than 50 countries worldwide including the USA, Canada and the UK. Australia has been pussyfooting to ban the organisation for years. However, HuT is “banned in many Muslim-majority countries, including Indonesia, Bangladesh, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Uzbekistan. In Malaysia, the Selangor Fatwa Committee  has outlawed HuT, declaring the group ‘deviant.’

Recently the Indonesian government, the most populous Muslim country in the world, revoked Hizbut ut-Tahrir’s charter, “citing incompatibility with government regulations extremism and national ideology.” Needless to say, HuT is currently fighting Indonesia’s revocation with the same vigour as they do in expressing their hatred of Jews!

Last year in Singapore, a HuT member was arrested for propagating online extremism.

The group is also banned in China and Russia, but not in Ukraine or Lebanon, to name a few.

In Kyrgyzstan, the State Committee for Religious Affairs recently banned websites containing “materials propagandizing extremist ideology of religious extremist organizations.” Hizb ut-Tahrir and the Taliban are two organizations included in the list.

HuT regards itself as a “peaceful pan-Islamist organization.”

Earlier this month in Bangladesh, The Daily Sun reported; “Law enforcers are looking for top 10 militants of the banned militant outfit, Hizb ut-Tahrir Bangladesh, including its chief coordinator Zakaria, detective sources said.“These 10 fugitive militants under the leadership of kingpin Zakaria are secretly trying to reorganise the terrorist organisation’, the sources added:

“In the wake of the police crackdown, many of its activists, who had gone into hiding, have started coming out of their hideouts. They are now trying to conduct militant activities and other crimes in the country, the sources said.

It was in 2009 that Hizb ut-Tahrir showed its antisemitic hand as a so-called “peaceful pan-Islamist organization.” To quote:

  •         “Al-Quds [Jerusalem] cannot be liberated by resorting to protests and sit-in… it can only be restored by mobilizing armed forces to eliminate the Jewish entity!
  •         “That way is to mobilize the Muslim armies and bring together all able-bodied Muslims to eliminate the Jewish entity from its roots and only then will the al-Aqsa be liberated and cleared of the scum and evil of the Jews and their offsprings….
  •       “The way is to regard the entire Palestine as one right from the banks of the river in the east to the sea in the west, without differentiating the lands occupied in 1948 or in 1967; whoever relinquishes even one part of the land, actually facilitates surrender of part after part, whoever displays weakness, humiliation is his destiny…”

         -18th Shawwal, 1430 A.H. Hizb ut-Tahrir. October 6, 2009

HuTs British chapter in London is regarded as the “nerve centre” of the movement. It was in 2007 that BBCs Panorama first took HuT to task. A former British supporter referring to HuT stated, “They always promoted hatred, they promote hostility…”

How strong is the case against HuT?  Well, in Denmark, comments by HuT go back even further. In 2003 Newsnight revealed HuT had published a leaflet in Denmark attacking Jews: “Kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out where they have turned you out.”

The leaflet continued: “The Jews are a people of slander… a treacherous people,.. they fabricate lies and twist words.”

During the past three years, two significant reports have been published worthy of bringing to your attention.

Surinder Kumar Sharma, of the Indian Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, states in an article in Global Ecco:

“There is another militant organization worthy of serious attention. Hizb ut-Tahrir (HuT), or the Party of Liberation, is a radical Islamist group that, like ISIS, calls for the uniting of the Ummah and the return of the Caliphate.” He adds, “Given the fact that HuT already has a wide reach and is successfully inducting and radicalizing educated youth, the outfit has the potential to stage coups and uprisings against governments and regimes that it considers un-Islamic or aligned with anti-Muslim powers. HuT may well prove dangerous because it has an immense influence on people, especially in the way that it legitimizes the cause to establish a Caliphate. While the world’s focus currently is on ISIS, it would be a grave folly to ignore the growing influence of HuT and its global agenda.”

Dr James W. Moore, Ph.D., LL.M., is a Defence Scientist in the Socio-Cognitive Systems Section at DRDC Toronto, Canada. Previously, he worked for twenty years as a Strategic Analyst responsible for research and reporting on the Middle East with the Directorate of Strategic Analysis/CORA at Canada’s National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa.

In a report written in The Canadian Military Journal and published by National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces, Moore refers to the term ANSA and describes it as, “An autonomously operating planned group that has the capacity to use violence to achieve political ends.”

He adds:

“Is Hizb-ut-Tahrir an ANSA? Should the group fall under our analytical microscope? Given the ambiguities in the group’s ideology and strategy with respect to the use of violence, culminating in the fact that we cannot with confidence rule out the group’s resort to such methods under certain circumstances, the case can be made that HuT should be considered an ANSA for analytical purposes.

In a report published in 2008 by Islam in Europe, the Dutch security service AIVD said:

“The movement [Hizb ut-Tahrir] operates exceptionally secretly and has a cell structure with an almost military hierarchy. The ideology is characterized by virulent anti-Zionism, and intense aversion to secular governments and ideologies, the complete shunning of those who believe differently and prescribing a confrontational and strongly polarizing message.”

I believe the variety of evidence from countries and other sources support the assertion that Hizb ut-Tahrir continues to remain a primary threat to our daily lives.

Hizb ut-Tahrir. A peaceful revolutionary non-violent group? Poppycock!

OPINION

Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT). No longer the whipping boy of the fervent minority demanding a world Caliphate.

Hizb ut-Tahrir is front and centre of an enthusiastic Islamist bunch of antisemitic, anti-West and anti-democratic educated ideological vicious revolutionists who, in the West, dress as if they are on the board of a blue-chip company.

by Alan Simons

Have I made myself clear? Do you get the message?

I venture to say many of us living in Canada and the USA have never heard of them. Well, you better start right now. I’ve been following and writing about this revolutionary group for years. They’ve matured into a sophisticated organisation that maintains the illusion, to us dumb Westerners, that they have an interest in reaching its goals of a Caliphate peacefully and through non-violent means. Poppycock!

For a start, the Britain’s think-tank, formally known as the Centre for Social Cohesion (CSC), now the Henry Jackson Society, stated with sources on page 28 of their HTs Ideology and Strategy report:

HT promotional materials have called for violence against Jews. Despite its official non-violent stance, HT has called for violence against Jews. In 2002, HT leaflets found in Denmark urged Muslims to kill Jews “wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have been [sic] turned you out.” A BBC report quoted the HT leaflet further: “The Jews are a people of slander…a treacherous people… they fabricate lies and twist words from their right context.”

In 2003, similar anti-Semitic rhetoric resulted in the group being banned from many university campuses in Britain and a complete ban of the group in Germany.

HT photo 2HT supports not only violence against Jews in general but offensive jihad against Israel in particular.

HT believes Israel has “occupied Islamic lands”—lands once ruled by Islamic law. Accordingly, HT believes those lands should return to governance by Islamic law and supports jihad as a means to that end.

Accordingly, HT views violent acts against Israel as legitimate political protest until Israel no longer exists. The organization’s literature has supported Islamist suicide bombers in Israel, the Gaza Strip, and the West Bank.

In 1994, HT’s global leader, Ata Abu Rashta, reiterated this point when he declared that Jews who came to Palestine after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire have no right to live there. He called for all Jews of fighting age in Israel to be “killed until none survive.”

It adds on page 29:

“HT also sanctions killing Jewish ‘women, children and elderly’ – innocent civilians – as collateral damage. In addition, HT “makes it permissible to bomb planes and carry out suicide bomb attacks, or any other means necessary, to kill the ‘enemy unbeliever’”.

So much for peaceful and non-violent means!

Now, of course I won’t be duly surprised if many western-based HT revolutionists will strenuously object to these obvious blatant so-called Jewish inspired lies. And when I watch a video that tells me Hizb ut-Tahrir America is again set to hold their annual conference in Glendale Heights, Illinois on Sunday, 23 April 2017, called “Falsehood Perishes, Islam Prevails,” I wonder what in hell is happening in America!

HT Photo 3By last count HT is operating in over 40 countries worldwide including the USA, Canada and the UK. Australia has been pussyfooting to ban the organisation for years. However, HT isbanned in many Muslim-majority countries, including Bangladesh, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Uzbekistan. In Malaysia, the Selangor Fatwa Committee  has outlawed HT, declaring the group ‘deviant.’   Last year in Singapore, an HT member was arrested for propagating online extremism.

The group is also banned in China and Russia. HTs British chapter in London is regarded as the “nerve center” of the movement.

On social issues, it’s been reported that “HTs ideology is reactionary. HT dictates subservient roles for women, who are required to obtain their husbands’ permission to leave the house and cannot go outside wearing perfume.” HTs doctrine also prohibits participation in other faiths’ celebrations, much to the angst of all of our societies’ religious communities.

The very essence of a multi-faith society, the concept of which I adhere to, has no place with the likes of Hizb ut-Tahrir. Yet, in North America this revolutionary group, with their seemingly pharisaical Facebook site, remains in good standing. Go figure!

Hizb ut-Tahrir: And the March Goes On.

SPECIAL REPORT: Part Two

“It would be a grave folly to ignore the growing influence of HuT and its global agenda.”

With the extraordinary amount of interest shown towards my previous report on Hizb ut-Tahrir, especially in the USA, the following summarises the various examples of how this extremist, and more often than not, threatening international Muslim political organisation, is making waves in many parts of the world.

As Surinder Kumar Sharma, of the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses states in a recent article in Global Ecco: “While the world’s attention is fixed on the activities of the dangerous and ruthless Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS, or simply ISIL), there is another militant organization worthy of serious attention. HuT may well prove dangerous because it has immense influence on people, especially in the way that it legitimizes the cause to establish a Caliphate. While the world’s focus currently is on ISIS, it would be a grave folly to ignore the growing influence of HuT and its global agenda.”

Dr. James W. In a report written  in The Canadian Military Journal and published by National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces, he refers to the term ANSA and describes it as, “An autonomously operating planned group that has the capacity to use violence to achieve political ends.”

 Moore asks the following question:

“Is Hizb ut-Tahrir an ANSA? Should the group fall under our analytical microscope? Given the ambiguities in the group’s ideology and strategy with respect to the use of violence, culminating in the fact that we cannot with confidence rule out the group’s resort to such methods under certain circumstances, the case can be made that HT should be considered an ANSA for analytical purposes.”

Here’s a round-up of some of Hizb ut-Tahrir’s recent activities.

Indonesia- 150,000 attend the event

Hizb ut-Tahrir (Islamic Liberation Party) in 35 different cities in Indonesia this year, as every year, on the anniversary of the abolition of the Caliphate, organized marches and demonstrations. The last of these in a series of events that occurred on the morning of May 30, 2015 took place in the capital Jakarta, with a capacity of 150 thousand at the international Bung Karno stadium. In the presence of famous writers, thinkers and opinion leaders a four hour conference took place. The head of the Media Office of Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia, Ismail Yusanto, on behalf of the Caliphate Conference made an emphatic speech. University and high school students also held a conference organized by ongoing demonstrations, which was terminated by a prayer. kokludegisim.net

Gaza- Hamas struggling with emerging Islamist parties

Tensions are ongoing between the Hamas movement and the Salafist Ansar al-Dawla movement, which in February publicly declared its support for the Islamic State (IS), to which Hamas is opposed and which in turn does not look favorably upon Hamas. Meanwhile, on May 17, Hamas allowed another Islamic group, Hizb ut-Tahrir (Party of Liberation), to stage an event in the center of Gaza commemorating the 94th anniversary of the fall of the Islamic caliphate, last led by the Ottomans… “Destroying the Islamic caliphate led to the loss [under one flag] of Palestinian land and the rest of the Arabs,” Hassan al-Madhoun, spokesman for Hizb ut-Tahrir in the Gaza Strip, told Al-Monitor. “Only the Islamic caliphate will fill the political vacuum experienced by the Arab and Islamic nations. It will liberate Palestine and unify the Arab and Muslim nations in light of the sectarian rivalry witnessed in the Arab region… “We call on the Muslim armies to direct their weapons toward Israel instead of Muslims in an Arab country,” Madhoun said. – Al-Monitor

West Bank – Hizb ut-Tahrir says PA arrested 10 West Bank members

RAMALLAH (Ma’an) — The political group Hizb ut-Tahrir said on Saturday that Palestinian Authority security services had arrested 10 of its members across the West Bank.Hizb ut-Tahrir, which translates as Party of Liberation, said in a statement that their members had been arrested over speeches delivered in West Bank mosques following Friday prayers that condemned a PA decision to ban a party conference that was going to be held in Ramallah.Hizb ut-Tahrir is a pan-Islamic political organization which was founded in Jerusalem in 1953 with the goal of uniting all Muslims into a united state with an elected Caliph at its head. They regularly promote their ideas through speeches in mosques or issuing statements following Friday prayer or at other large Muslim gatherings. – Ma’an News Agency

Denmark – Hizb ut-Tahrir has seized power in residential area. Threatens TV crew.

Last Thursday [March 26, 2015] a television crew from TV2 went to Islandshøjparken in Denmark’s Nordsjælland. But the TV crew suddenly became in serious trouble, says Nordsjælland Police according to Frederiksborg Amts Avis. The notorious Islamic organization Hizb ut-Tahrir has just seized power of the resident board. At the annual meeting in February, Omar Saad was elected Chairman and several of his supporters also became members of the board. Omar Saad is an active member of Hizb ut-Tahrir and is against democracy, and for a caliphate governed by Sharia. That means a new era in the area. The TV crew were allowed to make recordings, but suddenly the interviewees regretted and demanded the tapes handed over. The TV2 team refused. But those interviewed did not take no for an answer. There were threats and one of them took out a knife and tried to cut the tire on TV2’s car. It is not only outsiders who feel threatened. Torun Have, who has lived in Islandshøjparken for three years, says that the sense of security is gone. Since Omar Saad became Chairman of the board, the mood has changed. “I’m afraid. Everything has changed, and it has become a war between them and us. Something I have never experienced before, though there have been Muslims on the board earlier,” she says to Ekstra Bladet. Several cars were driving past at high speed while Ekstra Bladet interviewed Torun Have. Some young men rolls down the window, and shouts provocative. The TV interview shows them shouting “Sharia” out the window. “It’s hard to explain, but right now there is a very ‘us against them-mood’, which is really uncomfortable.” It has never been like this before,” she says to Ekstra Bladet. – speisa.com

Australia – Women forced to back of lecture theatre at Hizb ut-Tahrir lecture

A university address by radical Muslim group Hizb ut-Tahrir saw women sent to the back of the lecture theatre while men took their place at the front. “Brothers to the front and sisters to the back” was the message from the preachers who were invited to speak at the meeting in sydney’s west on Thursday night. The Daily Telegraph reports men and women were segregated before the lecture to students at the University of Western Sydney’s Parramatta campus began. Women were ushered through a door marked “sisters” at the rear of the hall, while the “brothers” entered through another door and were told to take their place in “the front five rows”, the Telegraph reports. – femina.com

Malaysia – Hudud law in the country?

Hizb ut-Tahrir in Malaysia have rejected a proposal to put the hudud punishments of sharia law before parliament on the grounds that subjecting sharia law to the democratic process is forbidden according to Islamic law. A bill to implement hudud punishments has already been passed in Malysia’s Kelantan state. The new law bars non-Muslims from serving as legal witnesses in court, and introduces punishments including caning, amputation, crucifixion and stoning. Politicians are now attempting to bring hudud punishments before the national parliament. Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is an international Islamist group focused on the establishment of a global Islamic caliphate, strenuously disagreed with implementing sharia law through democracy. Instead the group demanded that the hudud punishments be implemented immediately without regard to any parliamentary process. The Malaysian Insider

China –  Chinese authorities link Xinjiang unrest to Hizb ut-Tahrir

The International Herald Tribune spotted a Chinese language press release in which Chinese authorities fascinatingly attribute the protests in Khotan as well as various forms of unrest and troublemaking in Kashgar, Urumqi, and Kizilsu Prefecture to the international Islamic political organization Hizb ut-Tahrir, or the “Party of Liberation.” Hizb ut-Tahrir, or HUT (kind of like Jabba) has garnered quite the reputation in Central Asian nations as a rallying point for Muslims bearing religious grievances against oppressive, secularist governments. HUT has an elaborate set of written guiding principles, and allegedly one of these embraces non-violent means as the only proper means to attain the group’s goal of restoring the Caliphate, thus, their main methods remain limited, on the surface, at least, to the propagation of the “right ideas” through lectures, sermons, booklets, and pamphlets. There have been several instances where violent activities were attributed by governmental authorities to HUT,.. This is the first attempt by the Chinese government to link unrest to Hizb ut-Tahrir that I’m aware of. It represents a significant and curious clarification of previous allegations of international involvement in Xinjiang incidents, the vast majority of which have involved a hazy specter of “international terrorism” or exile Uyghur organizations whose goals and aspirations remain quite distant from those of religious organizations. – Hizb ut-Tahrir Watch

Kyrgyzstan – Suspected members of Hizb ut-Tahrir detained in Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK — Kyrgyz officials say several suspected members of the banned Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir have been apprehended across the country. Officials in the northern district of Jety-Oguz said on February 10 that four local men have been detained after investigators found a gun and “extremist” printed and electronic texts at their homes in the village of Ak-Terek. Another suspected Hizb ut-Tahrir member was reportedly apprehended in the southern Batken Province on February 10. On February 9, officials in the southern region of Osh province said they detained a local imam for being a member of the group. Kyrgyz authorities say Hizb ut-Tahrir plays a role in a strategy used by Al-Qaeda and Islamic State militants to radicalize youth and recruit them to fight in Syria and Iraq. Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is banned across Central Asia and in Russia, says it is peaceful. In 2013, Michael Whine MBE, Government and International Affairs Director at the Community Security Trust, was appointed to a five year term as new UK independent member of the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI). Mr Whine has been professionally employed as a researcher on extremism, antisemitism, and terrorism for over twenty five years. He also acts as Consultant on Defence and Security to the European Jewish Congress, and represents it at the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

Nine years ago, The Hudson Institute published a paper by Whine titled, “Is Hizb ut-Tahrir Changing Strategy or Tactics?  His assessment at that time could still reflect on where Hizb ut-Tahrir is today.

“It cannot be denied that members of HT continue to provide a manpower pool for terrorist recruitment. One former senior member stated some years ago his belief that ‘if Hizb ut-Tahrir [is] not stopped at this stage, and we continue to let them politicize and pollute the youngsters’ minds and other gullible peoples’ minds, then what will happen in effect is that these terrorist acts and these suicide bombings that we hear going on around in foreign countries, we will actually start seeing these incidents happening outside our doorsteps.’ It seems reasonably clear that the basic aim of HT—to re-establish the Caliphate and to extend it elsewhere—remains in place. It is indeed also the ultimate aim of all Islamist groups, including the Muslim Brotherhood, Jamaat-e-Islami, and the subsequent offshoots of these groups. It must be noted that HT was the first group to do so, at a time when the Brotherhood focused only on the Arab world, while the Jamaat concentrated solely on the Indian subcontinent. HT’s basic strategy also still remains, while it only occasionally makes explicit mention of the violence implicit in the third stage of its program—the seizing of power.”
