A Message to our Muslim Neighbours

رسالة لجيراننا المسلمين

یک پیام به همسایگان مسلمان ما

ہمارے مسلم پڑوسیوں کے لئے ایک پیغام

    by Alan Simons

Some years ago, Frank Luntz, the US-based political and business pollster stated in reference to Jews: “We have developed some very destructive communication habits that have seriously undermined our efforts and the causes we believe in. Our words lose their resonance and our style and tone offend… We push people away when we should pull them in.”

Religious hate is hate, irrespective of one’s religion. Sunni or Shia, Traditionalist or Secular. Regardless of what country you live in,  Frank Luntz’s words can apply to both Jews and Muslims. Antisemitism and Islamophobia are the curses of the earth that only the extremists prosper on.

The following video is further proof that moving aside politics, ordinary Jews and Muslims can share a common belief.

According to a hadith, Prophet Muhammed said, “Charity is a proof of faith” and “The best charity is that which is given in Ramadan.”

In Judaism Tzedakah is the “Hebrew word for the acts that we call charity The word tzedakah is derived from the Hebrew root Tzadei-Dalet-Qof, meaning righteousness, justice or fairness.”

Ramadan Kareem. Kul ‘am wa enta bi-khair!

Through charity, may the future of your children’s lives find peace, happiness and a feeling of belonging amongst you.

Through charity may your children and ours share a common belief in living as neighbours in peace as Renee Rachel Black, a Jew and Sadiq Patel, a Muslim both have done.

Shalom!

Hizb-ut Tahrir: Antisemitic. Anti-Christian. Pro Pan-Islamist Terrorist Organization. Banned in many Muslim countries!

“That way is to mobilize the Muslim armies and bring together all able-bodied Muslims to eliminate the Jewish entity from its roots and only then will the al-Aqsa be liberated and cleared of the scum and evil of the Jews and their offsprings….”

HuT regards itself as a “peaceful pan-Islamist organization.” What complete and utter twaddle!

“The danger with Hizb-ut Tahrir (HuT) is ever more serious and often overlooked because it is not always visible and does not conform to stereotypes.”  – PAK Institute For Peace Studies(PIPS)

     by Alan Simons

I have been reporting on this known terrorist group now for eleven years and I intend to continue doing so. To remind my readers and to put it as simply as possible: This is an antisemitic and anti-Christian terrorist organisation who wants to conquer the world with its blatant egregious wish to demolish the democratic system of your government and in its place initiate a caliphate in your country. It has been quietly waiting in the shadows for the opportunity to pronounce itself as the foremost trustworthy leader in the Muslim world. Their timing is impeccable. Their aim is clearly defined. I repeat. To establish an Islamic Caliphate or Islamic state in your country and to resume the Islamic way of life for all.

Hizb ut-Tahrir (HuT) is not a recent upstart. It was founded in 1953 in Jordanian Jerusalem by Taqiuddin al-Nabhani, an Islamic scholar and Palestinian Sharia judge.

Hizb ut-Tahrir (HuT) is front and centre of an enthusiastic Islamist bunch of antisemitic, anti-West, anti-capitalist and anti-democratic educated ideological vicious revolutionists who, certainly in the West and Australia, dress as if they are on the board of one of President Trump’s blue-chip companies. As seen in this Australian Broadcasting Company click here>>> interview <<< their leaders are articulate, arrogant, well educated and when interviewed have done a good job of avoiding answering questions about their real intentions with a stylish line that could have been written by the best PR spin doctors.

Over the years HuT has matured into a global sophisticated organisation that maintains the illusion to ignorant Westerners, that they have an interest in reaching its goals of a caliphate peacefully and through non-violent means. They believe the establishment of the caliphate would provide stability and security. This forms part of their primary objective.

By the last count, HuT is operating in more than 50 countries worldwide including the USA, Canada and the UK. Australia has been pussyfooting to ban the organisation for years. However, HuT is “banned in many Muslim-majority countries, including Indonesia, Bangladesh, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Uzbekistan. In Malaysia, the Selangor Fatwa Committee  has outlawed HuT, declaring the group ‘deviant.’

Recently the Indonesian government, the most populous Muslim country in the world, revoked Hizbut ut-Tahrir’s charter, “citing incompatibility with government regulations extremism and national ideology.” Needless to say, HuT is currently fighting Indonesia’s revocation with the same vigour as they do in expressing their hatred of Jews!

Last year in Singapore, a HuT member was arrested for propagating online extremism.

The group is also banned in China and Russia, but not in Ukraine or Lebanon, to name a few.

In Kyrgyzstan, the State Committee for Religious Affairs recently banned websites containing “materials propagandizing extremist ideology of religious extremist organizations.” Hizb ut-Tahrir and the Taliban are two organizations included in the list.

HuT regards itself as a “peaceful pan-Islamist organization.”

Earlier this month in Bangladesh, The Daily Sun reported; “Law enforcers are looking for top 10 militants of the banned militant outfit, Hizb ut-Tahrir Bangladesh, including its chief coordinator Zakaria, detective sources said.“These 10 fugitive militants under the leadership of kingpin Zakaria are secretly trying to reorganise the terrorist organisation’, the sources added:

“In the wake of the police crackdown, many of its activists, who had gone into hiding, have started coming out of their hideouts. They are now trying to conduct militant activities and other crimes in the country, the sources said.

It was in 2009 that Hizb ut-Tahrir showed its antisemitic hand as a so-called “peaceful pan-Islamist organization.” To quote:

  •         “Al-Quds [Jerusalem] cannot be liberated by resorting to protests and sit-in… it can only be restored by mobilizing armed forces to eliminate the Jewish entity!
  •         “That way is to mobilize the Muslim armies and bring together all able-bodied Muslims to eliminate the Jewish entity from its roots and only then will the al-Aqsa be liberated and cleared of the scum and evil of the Jews and their offsprings….
  •       “The way is to regard the entire Palestine as one right from the banks of the river in the east to the sea in the west, without differentiating the lands occupied in 1948 or in 1967; whoever relinquishes even one part of the land, actually facilitates surrender of part after part, whoever displays weakness, humiliation is his destiny…”

         -18th Shawwal, 1430 A.H. Hizb ut-Tahrir. October 6, 2009

HuTs British chapter in London is regarded as the “nerve centre” of the movement. It was in 2007 that BBCs Panorama first took HuT to task. A former British supporter referring to HuT stated, “They always promoted hatred, they promote hostility…”

How strong is the case against HuT?  Well, in Denmark, comments by HuT go back even further. In 2003 Newsnight revealed HuT had published a leaflet in Denmark attacking Jews: “Kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out where they have turned you out.”

The leaflet continued: “The Jews are a people of slander… a treacherous people,.. they fabricate lies and twist words.”

During the past three years, two significant reports have been published worthy of bringing to your attention.

Surinder Kumar Sharma, of the Indian Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses, states in an article in Global Ecco:

“There is another militant organization worthy of serious attention. Hizb ut-Tahrir (HuT), or the Party of Liberation, is a radical Islamist group that, like ISIS, calls for the uniting of the Ummah and the return of the Caliphate.” He adds, “Given the fact that HuT already has a wide reach and is successfully inducting and radicalizing educated youth, the outfit has the potential to stage coups and uprisings against governments and regimes that it considers un-Islamic or aligned with anti-Muslim powers. HuT may well prove dangerous because it has an immense influence on people, especially in the way that it legitimizes the cause to establish a Caliphate. While the world’s focus currently is on ISIS, it would be a grave folly to ignore the growing influence of HuT and its global agenda.”

Dr James W. Moore, Ph.D., LL.M., is a Defence Scientist in the Socio-Cognitive Systems Section at DRDC Toronto, Canada. Previously, he worked for twenty years as a Strategic Analyst responsible for research and reporting on the Middle East with the Directorate of Strategic Analysis/CORA at Canada’s National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa.

In a report written in The Canadian Military Journal and published by National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces, Moore refers to the term ANSA and describes it as, “An autonomously operating planned group that has the capacity to use violence to achieve political ends.”

He adds:

“Is Hizb-ut-Tahrir an ANSA? Should the group fall under our analytical microscope? Given the ambiguities in the group’s ideology and strategy with respect to the use of violence, culminating in the fact that we cannot with confidence rule out the group’s resort to such methods under certain circumstances, the case can be made that HuT should be considered an ANSA for analytical purposes.

In a report published in 2008 by Islam in Europe, the Dutch security service AIVD said:

“The movement [Hizb ut-Tahrir] operates exceptionally secretly and has a cell structure with an almost military hierarchy. The ideology is characterized by virulent anti-Zionism, and intense aversion to secular governments and ideologies, the complete shunning of those who believe differently and prescribing a confrontational and strongly polarizing message.”

I believe the variety of evidence from countries and other sources support the assertion that Hizb ut-Tahrir continues to remain a primary threat to our daily lives.

“We Muslims have one word for Jews. Shalom.”

     by Alan Simons

Muslims Against Antisemitism (MAAS) is “a group of British Muslims who believe that there is a common cause for members of the faith communities and that is to ensure that all citizens who want to, can pray and practice in peace.” They state, “As British Muslims, we have therefore made our peaceful and non-violent struggle against Anti-Semitism our primary goal. In this goal we hope that others may come and help us when Islamophobia blights communities.

“In particular, we are deeply disappointed at the Anti-Semitism that is still present in society and we believe that Anti-Semitism was and is a pre-cursor towards the stereotyping of other migrant communities like the Muslim community.

“We will work with all groups and communities that believe that human and civil rights are important and that we all deserve the chance to live in peace!”

This Thursday, MAAS ran a full-page advertisement in the UK Daily Telegraph to which the Board of Deputies of British Jews responded, “The Board of Deputies of British Jews thanked signatories, saying it was an ‘Incredible solidarity – a full-page ad by Muslim sisters & brothers in today’s Telegraph. Thank you. Together we will defeat the twin evils of antisemitism & anti-Muslim hate.’”

In part the full-page advertisement, published below, states:

“As British Muslims, we believe that the time has come to speak out. For far too long anti-Semitism has gone unchecked. Sadly it has become entrenched across society. Its poison can be found in all political parties and among followers of all faiths, including Islam.

“To our Jewish sisters and brothers, we say the struggle against one of history’s oldest and most virulent hatred is not your fight alone but ours collectively.”

In Europe and in the USA, this advertisement is by no means unique and supplements a variety of examples of cooperation between Jews and Muslims.

  • “Thirty imams in France signed an open letter calling on their colleagues to help counter Muslim extremism. The letter, which appeared Tuesday in the daily LeMonde, expressed “compassion for all our fellow citizens who have been directly or indirectly affected by terrorism and by the anti-Semitic crimes that have blindly struck our country.”(April 24, 2018, The Times of Israel)
  • “German Muslim leader urges imams, rabbis to unite against school anti-Semitism.”- (March 28, 2018, The Times of Israel)
  • “Why these Muslims are fighting anti-Semitism.” (April 30, 2018, The Christian Science Monitor)
  • Eighteen months ago in the U.S., “Jewish-Muslim alliance formed against anti-Semitism, Islamophobia. The American Jewish Committee and the Islamic Society of North America Monday launched the new national group: The Muslim-Jewish Advisory Council. Though Jewish and Muslim groups have cooperated before, the size and influence of these two particular groups — and the prominence of the people who have joined the council — marks a milestone in Jewish-Muslim relations. ‘Our council is coming at the right time,’ said Eftakhar Alam, senior coordinator at ISNA’s Office of Interfaith and Community Alliances. (November 14, 2016, Religion News Service)

In my piece published yesterday in the jewishinfoNews titled, “My personal message to the Palestinian people in honour of the month of Ramadan, I concluded by saying:

“As Ramadan approaches, wherever you live, be gracious and reach out to non-Muslims. Your concept of hospitality, charity, spirituality and community can be shared by all, irrespective of one’s religion, race and nationality. During Ramadan extend your hand out to non-Muslims by inviting them into your home for Iftar.

“According to a hadith, Prophet Muhammed said, ‘Charity is a proof of faith’ and ‘The best charity is that which is given in Ramadan.’ Make it so.

“Ramadan Kareem. Kul ‘am wa enta bi-khair! May the future of your children’s lives find peace, happiness and a feeling of belonging amongst you.”

To all my Muslim sisters and brothers, I wish peace would hasten between us.

Salaam.
