QUOTE OF THE WEEK
OCTOBER 29, 2007 –
“Israel bombed Syria on September 6, but not even one country criticised the attack as being unlawful against a sovereign country. There was no provocation from Syria, nor had Syria threatened to attack Israel. The UN Security Council, which is supposed to maintain the peace and international security, turned an obnoxious blind eye to the bombing by remaining silent and so did the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon.
More surprising was that no Muslim or Arab country condemned the attack.
It appears that in the 21st century, there is a new phenomenon where Judeo-Christian western nations are allowed to break international laws with impunity. The ushering in of new self-made laws which are being used to attack, without justification, Muslims and Muslim countries, is destabilising the world and may lead to the loss of thousands of innocent Muslim lives.”
